On another note, S&R is offering a new pizza just in time for the Lenten Season.

Our newest treat topped with tuna flakes, mozzarella cheese, baked with extra virgin olive oil & generously garnished with fresh basil.

S&R Rotisserie Chicken with Free Pepsi Max

This is our dinner tonight!

Rotisserie Chicken with Free Pepsi Max PhP 219.95

It doesn't come with a sauce unlike the usual kapit-bahay litson manok (Baliwag or Andoks) most of us are used to. But the chicken meat is tasty enough that I do not need any help to enhance its flavor. My little sister is always glad to accept the skin of my piece because I only eat the white meat. Aaaaah, I'm boring! ;)

Plus, at the bottom of its bag is where all the magic is waiting - oh, the juices - on which you can put in your rice. Just don't be carried away even if it's that illegally good!

S&R Early Bird Sale 2013 Part 3 Home

Here we are again for another S&R Early Bird Sale post. This time it's all about their Home section. Other items I didn't get to take a picture are bed linens, kitchen and bathroom towels and some children toys. There are lots of Mommies choosing from these shelves and it's hard to find a spot. I went to S&R and luckily, they are having their Early Bird Sale (September 4 - 24). This is not their big sale yet but if you can't bear the long lines then you better visit the store now! The actual Member's Treat 2013 is on September 25 to 29.

A lot of items are already discounted. I like visiting during this time as I can enjoy my shopping more. I took a lot of photos so I would put this post into three parts. Maybe four.

Grocery Shopping at S&R Congressional

In our family, I am in-charge of grocery shopping - budgeting, lists and all. It's fun actually! That also means I need to scour all places with the best offer. I went to S&R's P&G Brand Blowout and saved a few pesos - so that's good! I promised I won't be back anytime soon but then I found myself there after a week, lining up with a big 24-pack chips and Reese's. ;) Actually my family went back to get frozen meat and more breakfast food items. In my case, mostly junk foods!

Honestly, we don't ever go to S&R to do our normal grocery. Lalo na pag may kasamang kids. Dampot doon, dampot dito! Ang daming tukso... pati ako na rin yun. :D Then surprise, you're already out of your budget. Pfff!

We bought these before S&R Member's Treat (March 13 - 17, 2013). We didn't go actually. I wanted to but walang gusto sumama.


TIP: Whenever you buy, always check for bigger packs because most of the time these items cost less.

I chanced upon S&R Shopping Facebook page on which they were promoting P&G products and have them on discounted prices. Prices are still high but we're talking about large volumes here. Also, these are US made products so it's expected.
