Hey, Lushies! I have been receiving messages about Lush Philippines branches so I decided to just make a list. I am lucky to be close to two of them but unfortunately for those in the province, they are all located in Metro Manila. You can easily tell that you are near a Lush store as your senses will lead you right to it. It has this intriguing scent that is so unique of Lush! Some of my friends can't stay there for so long which I understand since it can be quite overwhelming. But for me, I love it! How about you?

Lush Philippines Christmas 2013 Haul

The moment I got a text from Lush Philippines letting me know that their Christmas 2013 products were already out, I wanted to ride the first flight back to Manila and spend all that is left on my wallet! But alas, I was stuck at the northern part of the country for some family time and as you all know they only have branches in Metro Manila. So the sooner I got back, I only had one mission! That is to get my Lush Santa's Lip Scrub and Santa Baby Lip Tint!

I've already been dreaming of fizzy cola sweets and smooth, kissable lips... oooh! But I guess luck wasn't really on my side as every branch I went to, the lip scrub was out of stock!!! I'm obsessed with Lush but that is pretty cray cray! See, it isn't December yet and they were out of it? ;)

Now, the right thing to do is get out of the store. But (another but) I can't deny myself as these PINK things were calling my name... Lels ;)

Lush Snow Fairy shower gel
Yes, I got sucked into this sweet, bubblegummy goodness, again. Every year, I always promised myself that I would stop getting one anymore but... but......

Lush Magic Wand bubble bar
Solid version of Snow Fairy shower gel but for the bath. This is a reusable bubble bar and they say you can use it up to 10 times. I like it bubbly, so mine lasted up to 6 baths.

Karma solid perfume
This is just a +1 on my haul and not part of Lush Christmas 2013 line. I don't need to get another perfume right now but I just finished my first tube (Is it the right term?). Have you taken a whiff of this? The scent is not for everyone. It's either you love it or you hate it and I'm on the 'Team Love It'! It's citrusy, spicy and very vibrant.


Lush truly is where the magic happens. Btw, the paper bag was from Christmas last year. I just used it here because it looks better than the regular black bag. I got a little sidetracked from my initial plan, yaiks. Although knowing me, pretty sure you will see another Lush haul before the year ends. Note to self: Better save now! :)

Cafe Mary Grace, SM North Edsa

Wondering where to rest our feet after doing the groceries, I thought of trying Cafe Mary Grace's latest branch at SM North Edsa. I noticed they have an extensive menu than their Trinoma branch with the addition of pizzas and meal sets. It is also more spacious but still lends that homey, comfortable ambience the cafe is known for.

I normally would pick pasta but I was feeling a sandwich is best at that time... And it sure did!

Fili Beef and Tomatoes Php 227

Tender slices of beef sirloin served in between batard bread, moistened with a pesto dressing and garnished with tomatoes and lettuce.

Upon reading the description above, I cannot recall any hint of the pesto dressing. But the beef is oh so soft, slightly sweet and garlicky! Even the tomatoes they used are juicy and just add that burst of freshness. You can get an extra order of the chips and garlic mayo dip for Php 37 which by the way is so addicting.


Sangria Php 84

A refreshing red tea with a hint of citrus and other ingredients.

This is my choice of drink EVERYtime I eat here. I just love that you can actually taste the tea and fruit juices and not the sweet, concentrated teas.


I would have stayed a little bit longer to taste their newest cheesecake offering, Limone Santi, but I still have some errands to do. I appreciate food that is tasty and beautifully prepared and Cafe Mary Grace always makes me happy!
